I was frightened at the sight of the skinless creature, raking its claw-like nails on my window at night. I quickly leaped out of bed and ran out of my room down the hallway, only to realize that the creature had been trying to warn me of what was already in my house.

The cat started to hiss at the closed basement door, and occasionally would scratch the air as though fighting something invisible. I don’t own a cat.

I walked into my room to see that the computer monitor was glowing with a dark blue face that glared at me from behind the screen. Shocked, I quickly went to unplug the computer, only to realize that it wasn’t plugged in to begin with.

I heard my 4-year-old son laughing from the next room. At first I thought he was watching TV, and then I heard the raspy voice say something else.

Late during the night, I awoke to the ear-shattering sound of my phone ringing. Sleepily, I picked it up from my nightstand and looked at the number, only to see that the number was from the phone I held in my hand.

Last night I saw the silhouette of a tree branch through my windowblinds. As I stared at its curling branches, I remembered that there is no tree outside my window.

Finally free of the nightmare that had plagued him for most of his life, he took a moment to rest. Suddenly a voice rang out from directly behind him: “You think it’s over? It’s only just begun!”

He awoke from the dream sweating. It had been a horrible nightmare about a creature sitting in his bed, strangling him as soon as he awoke. As the claws came out of nowhere and tightened around his throat, he awoke from the dream sweating.

Feeling bad about making the girl cry, Selena felt even worse as she watched the girl run into the path of an oncoming car.

I scoffed, and followed the man in the black cloak into the dark world. After all, anything was better than the small room of the asylum, where we were leaving my body.

He was almost out of the graveyard before a phenomenon similar to a vacuum sucked him into a grave. He sighed, knowing that he’d try another escape tomorrow.

She froze, staring at the man lying on the ground. Although his skin was pale and a chunk of his face was missing, she could have sworn that he winked at her.

Adolf Hitler sat in a secret bunker and watched a light appear in the air in front of him. A loud voice told him to jump inside it. Even though he would leave his body behind, he would live forever.
Just a little collection of 2-3 sentence horror stories (written by yours truly). I was considering saving this for Halloween, but well... the euphoria in coming back overtook me. :)

These are rather amazing!
Mind if I make a few of them into short "animations"?
